As entrepreneurs, we are used to being in the thick of everything. The to-do list is never-ending, whether solving a supply chain issue, creating social media ads or tackling a customer issue. It can be challenging to come up for air.
Yes, we should be more mindful and present, but it's difficult when orders need to be fulfilled. It is crucial, though, to take a moment to reflect on the progress your venture has made and bask in the accomplishments.
We challenged members of our community to pause and share one thing they were grateful for this year. Here are some of their answers.
"After going through breast cancer treatment while launching a business amid a global pandemic, I've never been more grateful for my health and for the health of my loved ones. Equally, I'm so grateful for the entrepreneurial community. Willa's Oat Milk would not be the business it is today without the advice, support, partnership, and insight of the founders we've been fortunate to meet along the way." Christina Dorr Drake, Willa's Kitchen
"I'm grateful for the food entrepreneur community who have been extremely supportive. Additionally, I'm happy to have found a great co-packer." Ellie O'Brien, Square Root Life
"We were honored to participate in the Target Accelerator program. It has been instrumental in our business. We have met so many incredible people in the CPG community and have elevated our operations because of Target." Kelsey Searles, MiliMili
"I'm proud to be a part of the New Voices Foundation Madam CJ Walker PACE Bootcamp. I've learned so much in the Bootcamp and am excited to apply the learnings to Q122." Jessica Jade Basita, SunKiss Organics
"We were finally able to launch our product in the fall of 2021. It took a lot to get to that point, and I'm extremely grateful for all those people that supported us on the way." Mara Smith, Inspiro Tequila
"Pennie's Tea recently launched in The Fresh Market in 22 states. I'm also thankful to have the ability to share my story through my new book "Dangerous Love from Battered to Boss Lady." Pennie Crocket, Pennie's Tea
"I'm thankful that we are performing well as a business and have thrived during the pandemic. We are also grateful for the incredible humans we get to interact with daily, including our customers and colleagues." Taryn Pellicone and Valerie Zweig, Prescription Chicken
"I'm thankful for my new operations manager Evelyn, who has gone above and beyond her responsibilities. She keeps me organized." Kim Roxie, LAMIK Beauty
