ABOUT MACKENZIE VARTHI When I first became vegan, I found it nearly impossible to find plant-based baking mix options— especially products that tasted as good as the original. At Sipwell, we make premium wine with a can-do spirit. With a single serving of zero sugar, organic wine in each infinitely recyclable can, our wines are meant for toasting the little wins in life. We're on a mission to create a more positive & mindful approach to drinking by promoting celebration, sustainability, and moderation. Our founder Hilary started Sipwell in 2021 because, even though she loves wine, she wanted to be able to drink a glass at a time, without running the risk of the bottle going bad. With a background in craft beer (formerly VP of Marketing at Ballast Point/Constellation Brands), she saw how widely cans were accepted for great quality beer, and asked: why isn’t that the case with wine? Not happy with the the quality of the wines available in single servings, she saw an opportunity to innovate with premium wine in a can. Today, we offer four award-winning wines, all sourced from organic and sustainably farmed vineyards in California's Central Coast, and available for sale at retail and online. Our wines have been recognized as "The Best Canned Wines of 2022" by Wine Spectator and as an "Editor's Choice" by Wine Enthusiast, in addition to features in Forbes, Essence, and Thrillist. ABOUT HILARY COCALIS I'm an entrepreneur who founded a premium canned wine brand, Sipwell Wine Co. I'm also a brand marketing advisor and consultant, working with emerging food and beverage brands to craft their own story. And I'm a mom of 2 strong girls - my most important job of all.

Azizah Healing offers a curated range of natural skincare products tailored specifically for dry skin, emphasizing holistic well-being. Through its specialized formulations and community-centric approach, the brand aims to redefine self-care by merging effective skincare with a philosophy of overall wellness. ABOUT AZIZAH LLOYD I'm Azizah, the heart and soul behind Azizah Healing. Picture this: one day, persistent visions woke me up from my sleep. Visions of crafting a skincare line that's more than skin deep, one that nurtures both the outer and inner wellness of every individual. I couldn't ignore this calling, and as fate would have it, a conversation with my mother revealed a treasured family connection to healing through skincare. My journey began by tapping into my own loves: the silky touch of moisture and the enchanting allure of aromatherapy. These two passions became the heartbeat of my creations. I discovered that body scrubs were the perfect canvas to combine these elements. The gentle exfoliation invigorates the skin, while the nourishing oils and butter cocoon it in a layer of moisture and protection.

SAYSO is a Brooklyn-based, female-founded brand that sells the first-ever cocktail or mocktail mix in a tea bag. Using real, granulated and whole ingredients, SAYSO infuses in cold water and spirits (omit the spirits for a mocktail) in under 3 minutes to create a premium cocktail or mocktail at home or on-the-go. Our products are better for you (real ingredients, low sugar & low calorie) and better for the environment (20x lower carbon footprint than liquid mixers, biodegradable tea bags, recycled material pouches). ABOUT ALISON EVANS & CHLOE BERGSON Hi! We’re Alison & Chloe. We met at Harvard Business School and instantly bonded over our love of all things food & drink. We were frustrated when we couldn't recreate the delicious drinks we were having out at cocktail bars at home. When you want some variety from a bottle of wine, why were you stuck with canned ready-to-drink cocktails that always fell flat? Why did you have to hunt down 10 ingredients that you wouldn't use again? And why did this cost $18 out?? There had to be another solution. We started experimenting with all-natural ingredients in a tea bag and thought we could be on to something. And we were right! Now we can have delicious cocktails or mocktails at home in minutes. We hope you’ll love Sayso as much as we do.
Dive into a world where crunch, nutrition, and unbeatable flavor meet cultural pride. With Nemi Snacks, it’s not just a treat; it’s a journey to the heart of Mexico. Ready to crunch on something revolutionary? Grab a bag of Nemi and taste the true spirit of Mexico! Our recipes are a tribute to the rich food traditions passed down through generations, from mi abuela’s cocina to the sustainable practices of Aztec villagers. That moment sparked a mission: to revolutionize how Mexican snacks are represented and enjoyed, far beyond the borders of clichés. That's why our snacks are crafted to nourish your body and delight your senses, using simple, real ingredients that honor our roots.
Jeany’s Caribbean Elixirs, based in greater Austin, TX, is a handcrafted, artisanal beverage made from whole fruits and veggies. ABOUT NAIJEAN BERNARD When I first moved to Austin back in 2006, I began to really miss the flavors of my birthplace, Grenada. I reminisced of my childhood summer visits with my grandma, whom we called Mama. Mama lived off her land and rarely purchased anything in the grocery store if she could make it herself. What I loved the most were her homemade baked breads and juices. I always stayed close by, observing her, so I could get the first taste. I started re-creating the recipes, from memory, and shared them with friends at our weekly potlucks. My friends loved them and told me that I should share them with even more people. After lots of encouragement and trial and error, Jeany’s Ginger Elixir was born in 2016. Today, our elixirs are made with the same love, passed down from a grandmother to her granddaughter. We hope you feel the love, in every last drop!

Incubated at Yale University in 2020, Bo-yi was created as a way to bridge the gap between the East and the West and bring this healthy life force of Asian culture to Western store shelves. Bo-yi was created by Tiffany Leong who, as a Chinese American, dreamt of bringing the rich traditions of her Asian ancestry to life in the United States. Born and raised in Texas, Tiffany didn’t begin life with a love for the herbal soups and drinks her mother used to make for her. But as she grew older, her body retaliated against the Western lifestyle she had adopted. After seeing numerous doctors, cutting out the eight most common food allergens, and limiting her diet to unprocessed, natural foods, she found herself making those same Asian herbal drinks and foods her mother used to make. These traditional, vibrant recipes not only made Tiffany feel connected to her culture, they also did wonders for her body. Meanwhile, superfoods like bone broth, kale, and kombucha were growing in popularity throughout the U.S. Tiffany began to realize something, why weren’t the superfoods that she grew up with represented in the U.S. as well?

This internship paired with her involvement on a student food product development team has given Amy extensive experience working in the allergy-free, better-for-you space, and she believes her future will be defined by developing more inclusive snacks. 3 words to describe Amy: efficacious, passionate, and inquisitive. She gets difficult tasks done in a timely way with others in mind. Within the last couple of years she has taken pride in utilizing her classroom knowledge in her own business, especially when it comes to labels, packaging, sensory evaluation, chemistry, etc. Amy is thrilled that she can stop using her tiny kitchen equipment at 11 PM on a school night, and finally make her food baby a reality.

ABOUT LINDSAY & DELIA Hi! We're the co-founders of Tazzy Candy. We became instant friends when we met in college as food science students, working in a candy laboratory. We became obsessed with product development and food innovation, dreaming of a day when we could launch our own company. As sweets consumers, we struggled to find candy that used ingredients we trusted and loved, while giving us the experiences we craved. If the candy was "better-for-you" it was boring, and if it was fun, it used red dye 40. So, we left our jobs and created Tazzy! We only use ingredients we LOVE. This means no sugar alcohols, stevia, monk fruit, allulose, or IMO in our goods. Seriously, check our ingredient labels!

After serving 9 years as a Logistics Officer in the United States Army and gaining over 11 years of intense supply chain experience, she finally decided to be bold and carry through her love for fashion and design. With a busy lifestyle that involved frequent travel, she was inspired to create a product that adapted to her needs and also allowed her to express herself creatively. We make premium syrups and juices for the home and bar!:) Our products are shelf-stable for up to two years and include 100% citrus juices and syrups like simple syrup, agave syrup, espresso syrup, and more. ABOUT APRIL WATCHEL In 2015 our founder and beverage industry veteran, April Wachtel, was teaching cocktail classes at Astor Center in New York City and working as a brand ambassador for Bacardi. The craft cocktail movement had become a global phenomenon since Dale Degroff's work at the Rainbow Room in the 80s and 90s, and speakeasy-style craft cocktail bars were popping up in small cities and remote regions around the world. April realized her students wanted to make bar-quality cocktails at home but couldn't access the essential ingredients behind bars, like 100% citrus juices (not from concentrate and without preservatives) and standard bar syrups like simple syrup and ginger syrup. Craft cocktail bartenders made all their ingredients from scratch, and no brand sold shelf-stable versions made with real bar recipes. However, home consumers weren't the only ones struggling with this problem. As cocktail programs (and drink volume) grew, the "everything from scratch" model broke, and programs struggled with consistency, labor, cost, speed of service, and more. April decided someone should make a product that helped solve this problem for consumers and professional bartenders. She launched a cocktail batching and delivery service called Swig + Swallow in 2015, evolving it multiple times before pulling it apart and putting it back together as Cheeky, launching into the first wave of COVID in 2020.
Sauces and dips uniquely made for toddlers and young children, using vegetables, herbs and spices and without added sugars, salt or anything artificial. Our sauces are milder takes on adult favorites, designed to introduce the youngest eaters to exciting and adventurous tastes. ABOUT JILL WEISSMAN We’re Jill and David, parents of a quick-witted and ever-growing adorable toddler. When starting solids with her, we ran out of meal ideas and looked in the grocery store for inspiration. We wanted to make her healthy, flavorful home cooked meals like we cook for ourselves, but the packaged sauces we typically used were loaded with unpronounceable ingredients, added sugars and artificial preservatives - not what we wanted on the menu for our first foods graduate. There had to be a better way!

ABOUT KATIE MALONEY With all of our obligations, it can be TOUGH to wake up for an early morning workout - especially after last night’s happy hour. Desperate for early morning fuel, I was spending too much at Starbucks, and the pre-workout supplements I tried left much to be desired, with anxiety and a stomach ache. I realized there was a shortage of more natural and holistic products for energy, that do more for my body than just caffeinate it. I wanted something that I could feel good about putting in my body when I'm in a pinch in the my morning. After much research, trials, and tests in my kitchen (don’t worry - it’s no longer made in my kitchen), I found the perfect blend of superfoods and vitamins that energized my day without the additives, gave me the nutrition boost I needed, and tasted awesome. And so, Aila was born. Better, natural energy. Simple, plant-based ingredients. No neon packaging, no "explode" in the name, and no novel of an ingredient label.

Une Femme Wine was born in a Champagne Bar and raised in Sonoma, CA. As the founder of The Riddler, the all-women-funded Champagne bars in San Francisco and New York, I served tens of thousands of bottles of Champagne to the most stylish women on both coasts. While there, I realized that every time we put a woman-made wine on the list, it would outsell all others. I wondered why there wasn’t a modern sparkling wine brand for "women like us": made by women winemakers, giving back to women-centered charities, digitally native, contemporary in style, and available everywhere we ate, drank, shopped, and traveled. At Une Femme, we are building that brand. So, whether we’re toasting to a dream job, a first home, or progress towards a better world, Une Femme is raising a glass to women raising the bar.

ABOUT EFFIE PANAGOPOULOS Born and raised in Boston, MA of Greek immigrant parents, Effie Panagopoulos is the first Greek woman in history to found a liquor brand. Her "eureka moment" was in 2008, at infamous Mykonos beach bar Nammos, coincidentally written about in Vogue where she decided SHE would be the one to bring this product to the US, and has not only created Greece's first luxury spirit brand, but has her eyes set on being the next Global Greek spirit brand. There should be a bottle of mastiha on every backbar, and KLEOS will be that brand.

We love cooking and eating great-tasting vegetable dishes, but we realized many people don’t have the time or know-how to prepare vegetables well. So we set out to make veggies approachable, delicious, and satisfying by drawing inspiration from cuisines we love. ABOUT ZOE GELLER I founded Fire Ox to create a more sustainable food system. My heart's passion is to create good, nourishing food that is better for people and planet. My passion comes from my struggle with an eating disorder for over ten years and my time as an Americorps teaching kids how to grow food. The name, Fire Ox, goes back to the 1930s - to when my ancestor, Suydam Cutting, traveled all over the world to learn about people’s way of life, and admire the beauty of the earth and its unique plants and animals.
Did you know that for a jam to be a jam it has to contain at least 55% sugar?! Wild, right. My name’s Anna and I learned this back in 2018 as I was playing around in my kitchen trying to make a jam that wasn’t filled with s***. I wanted something I could dollop generously onto overnight oats, swirl freely through yogurts or just consume by the spoon. I wanted delicious and nutritious. Everything on the shelf was filled with sugar (or fake sugars that have an awful aftertaste and frankly aren’t much better for you), preservatives, and various other suspect ingredients. What’s more, they all looked like they belonged in my Grandmother’s pantry. So, I teamed up with Steve, and Chia Smash was born. We’re challenging the rules and raising the bar on better for you. Chia Smash is packed with only the real, good stuff like superfoods, and leaves out the things you don’t want, like added sugar (or sneaky sugar alcohols). It’s not just about being a better-for-you or better tasting product though. We care about our bestie, planet earth too, and nurturing that friendship for the long run. We use the ‘imperfect’ but still perfectly delicious fruits and give them a home in our jar. We’re proud to be Certified Upcycled and excited about how we can continue to create products that are better in more ways than one. We’re stoked you’ve found us, and hope to bring some joy and inspiration into your brekkie & beyond.
Meet your fav new snack. The cheezy cookie-cracker. 100% plant-based, 100% ridiculously addictive. With the looks of a cookie but the crunch and crispness of a cracker Carolyn’s Krisps are perfect for any occasion. We believe the future is in the plants which is why these have been created from 100% plant products. Made for all. To be honest, even our non-vegan friends love them! We’ve heard the words, “I wouldn’t even know these are vegan.” #winning Carolyn’s Krisps are named after our Granny. Carolyn’s Krisps were a hit at all of our family holiday get togethers (well, Krisps and her mashed potatoes). After she passed, we carried on her Krisp tradition every holiday and eventually decided they were too good not to share with others.
Postal Petals, based in West Hollywood, CA, is an immersive floral & wellness startup that uses fresh-cut flowers and do-it-yourself flower arranging to promote creative expression as a form of mindfulness and self-care. ABOUT TALIA BOONE Talia experienced firsthand the profound impact of flower arranging on mental health. Postal Petals® was founded in 2020 when, after experiencing prolonged bouts of anxiety, our founder, Talia Boone, turned to flower arranging as a creative outlet to relieve stress. She saw a drastic improvement in her overall emotional health. Her breakthrough came during the pandemic when tensions were at an all time high and she needed flowers the most. The L.A. Flower Market was closed due to lockdowns. So a series of Google searches for a company to ship her high-quality fresh cut flowers for her to arrange at home turned up nothing.
