Spearhead Global and Enthuse Foundation Announce Rooted Fare as Winner of $40K Capital + Catalyst Grant for Women-Led Food & Beverage Brands

The Enthuse Foundation and Spearhead Global are proud to announce that Ashley Xie and Hedy Yu, founders of Los Angeles–based Rooted Fare, are the first recipients of the Capital and Catalyst Grant—a $40,000 award designed to accelerate women-led innovation in food and beverage.

Selected from five finalists during a live pitch event for Spearhead Global employees on September 11, Rooted Fare stood out for its sustainable business practices, the passion of its founders, and, of course, its delicious product. In addition to the grant, Ashley and Hedy will

receive tailored mentorship and strategic support from the Spearhead Global team.

“Through Capital + Catalyst, our goal is to pair financial support with the kind of guidance and industry access that can be game-changing for women founders,” said Kim Lawton, Co-Founder of the Enthuse Foundation.
